Volare Venom Kids' Bike - Boys - 18 inch - Blue - 6 speed

Extra-light frame: only 7.8 kg total weight.

Sporty blue kids’ bike with a mountain bike look
The Volare Venom 18 inch is a sporty kids’ bike for boys aged about 4 to 7. The eye-catching blue colour, black details and rugged design give the bike a tough mountain bike character. The aluminium frame helps keep the weight down to 7.8 kg, so the bike stays easy to handle for young riders.

6 Shimano gears for different rides
With 6 Shimano gears, your child has more choice while cycling. Shifting is done with the Shimano RevoShift 6-speed twist shifter on the handlebars. The Shimano Tourney RD-FT35-A rear derailleur and 14-28T cassette make up the drivetrain. Handy when your child rides longer distances or wants to use different gears on the way.

Two V-brake hand brakes and no coaster brake
Front and rear, this Volare Venom has an aluminium V-brake. So your child brakes entirely with the two hand brakes on the handlebars. This bike has no coaster brake. That is an important difference from many other kids’ bikes and makes this model suitable for children who already ride with hand brakes or deliberately want to switch to them.

Aluminium frame with pistol-style chain guard
Besides the aluminium frame, the rims are aluminium too. The rigid front fork suits the sporty, direct character of the bike. Around the chain is a pistol-style chain guard, which partly covers the chain while keeping the drivetrain visible.

Adjustable and practically equipped
The Volare Venom is made for an inside leg of 45 to 53.2 cm and clothing size 104 to 122. The saddle is adjustable from 49 to 58 cm and the handlebars are height-adjustable too. Reflectors, a bell and a kickstand come as standard. The bike comes 85% pre-assembled and the tools needed to finish assembly are included.
