Shipping and delivery

Buying your new bike at Wheelerz is easy. We have a wide range of bikes in all types, colours, sizes and brands. For all Wheelerz bikes: ordered on a working day before 15:00, delivered the next day (Saturday and Sunday are not delivery days). For other brands, it depends on our own stock and you will receive your bike within 3 working days. We do our very best to deliver your bike as quickly as possible, but something can always come up that delays delivery, so please bear in mind that this is a guideline and not a guarantee. It is based on the availability of products at our suppliers.

Free shipping

At Wheelerz, shipping within the Netherlands (excluding the islands) is completely free for orders from € 100. So having your bike delivered is not only fast but also very affordable! Your order is also insured as standard during transport with one of our reliable partners: PostNL, DHL and NL Logistics.

Track your order online

When you place an order at Wheelerz and the bike is shipped, DHL sends you an email with a track & trace code so you can follow your order online. Please note: DHL only gives a delivery day, not a time. Our other partner, NL Logistics, sends you an email with a time slot so you know exactly when the driver will arrive.

How is my bike delivered?

Your bike is delivered at least 85% assembled. This means you only need to fit the pedals, handlebars, front wheel and saddle yourself, plus the front carrier, accessories or hand brakes if ordered. See the assembly instructions page for more information on assembling a bike. Would you rather receive the bike ready to ride? That costs € 80. See “Ready-to-ride delivery”.

Ready-to-ride delivery

Want your bike delivered ready to ride? Simply select this option when you add the bike to your cart. The bike is delivered ready to ride for € 80 in assembly costs. The average delivery time is then 1-3 working days.

Assembly includes:

  • Checking and adjusting all rotating parts (such as the bottom bracket and rear axle)
  • Tensioning all spokes
  • Tensioning the chain
  • Greasing and tightening all bolts, nuts and screws
  • Adjusting the gears (if fitted)
  • Adjusting the (hand) brakes
  • Checking the seat post and handlebar stem before fitting them into the frame
  • Greasing the pedals and fitting them on the correct sides
  • Fitting the front carrier (if ordered) to the bike

Collection

Want to collect your new bike? You can do so free of charge at our store at Overtoom 423-425 in Amsterdam. Choose “Collect from the store” at checkout and we will agree on a time together.
