Vogue Carry 2 Electric Cargo Bike, Battery on Rear Rack

Please note: this is a different version from the Vogue Carry 2 with the battery in the box. It is the same Vogue Carry 2, with the same frame, the same box, the same Ananda M81 mid-drive motor and the same Shimano Nexus 8 hub gear. There are two differences: on this version the 540 Wh battery sits on the rear rack, and the bike brakes with mechanical disc brakes instead of hydraulic disc brakes.

What the difference means for you

Battery on the rear rack. On this version, the 540 Wh battery sits behind the saddle, on the rear rack. The capacity is the same as the Carry 2 with the battery in the box.

Mechanical disc brakes. A mechanical disc brake is operated by a cable, a hydraulic disc brake by brake fluid. Both are disc brakes that also brake well in wet weather. A hydraulic brake needs a little less squeezing force and adjusts itself. A mechanical disc brake is adjusted when the brake pads wear, which any bike mechanic can do easily.

Riding the Vogue Carry 2

The Vogue Carry 2 is an electric cargo bike on two wheels. The Ananda M81 mid-drive motor delivers 80 Nm and, with the torque sensor, adapts the assistance to how hard you pedal. So you ride like on a normal bike, with extra power, even when the box is full. With the Shimano Nexus 8, you can also shift when stationary, handy at traffic lights. Automatic LED lights and wide tyres with extra grip make the Carry 2 suitable for everyday use in the city.

The box has room for up to four children. You get the rain cover for free, so your children stay dry.
